Joe is a Cardiff based composer. He started in indie-pop outfit OK. The band recorded their debut album Under the Weather but Over the Moon in Mayfair Studios London. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joe began composing when he wrote the music for Keith Reynolds Can't Make it Tonight, a short film by Felix Massie, which went on to win various awards

Since then he has written the soundtracks for two more of Felix's films: The Surprise Demise of Francis Cooper’s Mother and more recently In the Air is Christopher Gray, which have both won awards.

 

Joe has gone on to work for Bristol based production company Arthur Cox, composing two pieces for the feature film 8 Minutes Idle. He's worked with New York production company Blacklist writing the music for an online Google advert and a Sesame Street short.

 

He has worked with Aardmanwriting the music for a TV commercial advertising Tesco's back to school clothing range, with Bossa Studios on the computer game I Am Bread, and most recently with Cube Media on a Teletubbies music app.

 

Joe's inspirations include: Randy Newman, Fatts Waller, Scott Joplin, Radiohead and The Beachboys. He currently lives in Cardiff with his cat Jenkins.
